Writing Music

When you use Music Publisher 6 , writing music is as flexible as it would be if you were using pen and paper. Our professional quality music writing software is focussed on the printed page, and lets you write the music you want to see, even if it's not in the normal notation rules. Unlike other similar systems, Music Publisher won't argue with you when you're writing music - you impose your own rules rather than having to adapt to the software.

When you're writing music with Music Publisher, there are a number of features that you will find invaluable. You'll be able to enter the notes directly from the keyboard by name, which is a very fast process. This includes grace notes, beaming, staccato, dotting, tying, note length, cross-headed notes, acciaccatura (etc.) and rests. The software scrolls automatically as you're writing the music, with a variable stave size ranging from about 0.15" to 1" (4mm to 25mm), giving up to about 30 staves per A4/Letter page.
